I recently wrote down some notes for an AU idea I wrote back down in January. This is a Kamen Rider Gotchard AU that uses the mana/energy/power restoration system from a R18 BL Manga called Dear Sister, I've Become A Blessed Maiden. Thought it would be fun to also share these notes here!

If you wanna hear a bit about the manga for additional context, I talked about it in a post some time ago on my journal here. Since the original source material for the idea of this AU is R18, this AU is R18 in nature even though there is no explicitly written out contents in the notes below.

While this uses the system from the manga, it also has my own ideas added into it. Note that said manga is still ongoing as of writing this, so new details of this system could appear in said manga in the future! Also this will be far from my only version of these notes as I get more ideas and flesh + figure things out.

So I just finished volume 4 of RWBY and it was a good finale. The season as a whole was great for picking up the pieces after the last season finale wrecked everyone HARD. But as much as I appreciate canon, this is yet another "what if this character I like lived" deal similar to Clay from Ace Attorney and Marni from FE Engage.

Talk about the most self-indulgent, joy-sparking scenario for your OTP, favorite characters, favorite show/game/book/etc. Something that could've been canon if the writers so chose, something that would never be canon but is why AU fics exist. Silly, horny, angsty, fluffy, as long as it scratches that itch and makes YOU happy.

So this started out as "my image of an Elibe anime that will never get made but I can pretend" and now it's shaping up to be an Elibe AU I wouldn't mind writing sometime.

I guess, for the first non-mod post on this comm, I'll do it! Hi, I'm Sorakh28, and I adore AUs. I have a few AUs that's in progress- mainly, the Break Me, Shake Me series and its sub-series To The Moon And Back. While on hiatus, I'm also working on an AU of Persona 2 that focuses on Eternal Punishment being the only narrative of the duology to happen, albeit with plenty of references to Innocent Sin (and other Persona games on top of it). It's called A Gear of Fortune, and even if I'm on hiatus I still love the story.

I do have plenty of other AUs, but these are the ones I wanted to start with, since they're available to read!

Alternate universes. We know them, lots of people love them, so many types exist. What if Aang was never frozen in the iceberg? What if Mia Fey lived? What if Eliwood was the quiet dragon boy and Ninian was the gallant and noble lady out to save her father? What if Yang was a barista and Blake was the customer she loved to flirt with? What if Baz was the chosen one instead of Simon? What if Mamoru was a doctor and Usagi was a med student? What if Fushigi Yuugi was a space opera?

That's just the tip of the iceberg. AUs can come in so many different forms, and if you've ever come up with a detailed 'verse or just have a bunch of headcanons you want to bounce off of people, this community is for you.
